This is an exciting opportunity to join as a Founding Engineer/Lead Engineer, playing a key role in building the product from the ground up and shaping the future of the company. This role is ideal for someone who aspires to grow into a Co-Founder/CTO position and is highly motivated by equity and long-term ownership.

The Role

As a Founding/Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and optimizing the company’s fullstack application with a strong focus on front-end development (React/Next.js). You will collaborate closely with the founding team to drive technical strategy, ensure scalability, and lead the development of new features.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the technical stack and product development lifecycle.
• Lead the architecture, design, and development of the platform, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Build and optimize user-facing components using React and Next.js (heavy front-end focus).
• Work on backend services with Node.js and integrate with databases and APIs.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to create an engaging user experience.
• Guide the startup’s technical vision and roadmap, laying the foundation for future growth.
• Build and lead a future engineering team as the company scales.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer, with a strong focus on Front-End Development (React/Next.js).
• Solid experience with Node.js on the backend.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring).
• Deep understanding of performance optimization, security, and best coding practices.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with a strong interest in equity and ownership.
• A passion for fitness, wellness, or travel is a huge plus!
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
